I really liked this guy for three years straight. We've always been close friends, therefore I didn't tell him I liked him because I didn't want to ruin the friendship.

A few days ago I found out he was gay and I suddenly didn't like him anymore. It was as if I had never liked him in the first place.

I still want to be his friend, and I still REALLY like him I just don't like him as more than a friend.

Is that a normal feeling?

I suppose so, because now you know you don't really have a chance with him since you're a girl. You just have a rational brain, you're very lucky. I'm often in situations where I like someone I know I can never be with. It's painful.

trusts you enough to open up to you like that.
You may like him but you'll get over that real quick
now that you know. Be his friend, stay his friend, your probably

its a normal feeling for most people
its because they dont like "different" people
dont not be friends with him rigth away but you know
its good to still have friends
its your choice what you do though think about it and maybe talk to him about it
