playing pc games damage your pc?

can playing graphics intensive games like crysis cause damage to your pc or any if its components?

this is my system:
640 GB hd 7500rpm
Intel core 2 duo e8500 (6mb l2 cache, 3.16 ghz 1333fsb)
Vista home premium
4gb ddr2 memory
nvidia geforce 9800gt 512mb
