Should i get a ps3 or wait to see what comes out next?

I want to buy i ps3 but i don't know if the next Generation of consoles is around the corner like the xbox 720 or the wii 2 or even the ps4.
What you guys think?

You should get the ps3 the next game systems wont come out till 2010

Well. Seeming how it took five years for wii to come out after gamecube, ps3 5 years after ps2 & xbox360 2 years after xbox, go buy a ps3 since it'll be longer for more advanced systems.

I say get the PS3.
The next lot isn't going to come out for another few years yet.
