My mum is too traditional..?

Im indian.. and my mum gets annoyed at the teeniest things. She seems to not be able to grasp the fact that i am living in the modern world and she needs to give me a bit more space??

is there anything i can tell her that will change her view on me 'growing up'??

please helpp

Mind your parents, all this crap going on in the world is causing a lot of problems and she knows best. What do you want to do? Go get a tattoo on your back side and neck, pierce 5 places on your body, sleep with every guy around, get pregnant and let your grades go to heck? (That is what I see out there).

Be happy she is keeping you out of mainstream America.
