The other day i went to open my hood on 2002 Dodge Ram pickup and noticed that the latch under the hood was loose meaning there was no way for me to get my hood open. I wanted to know if there is anything i can do myself to get it fixed without having to take it to a mechanic. Thanks.

How do I fix the latch to open the hood of my truck?

Look up at the inside of your hood from underneath your bumper.You should be able to see your latch and remove it with a ratchet and long extension.
