Which car audio system is louder?

I have 2 15" Kicker L5s in a ported box with a Planet Audio VX2250, which is 2200 watts. Would 3 JL Audio 12w6v1 be louder? With the same amp.

its kinda impossible to tell..... dimensions of the boxes will tell alot...just talk to a local professional who actually knows what he is talking about

the 3pcs JL w6 would be louder if you have more amp. and have the space you need for the box of 3.

but with that amp you have. by basing on your resources. go for the kicker l5 2pcs. it will perform better with your amp. and technically speaking, you can just tap the + + and - - (parallel) and it will be much easier without having much complication about the "OHMS"

unlike with 3 amps and with 1 amplifier, you will have some troubles with your OHMS and might just cause the units not to perform well.

so my suggestion/opinion. go for kicker L5's

well if your feeding 2250 watts into a pair of subs, so putting 1125 to each your gonna be over powering the subs.. which is bad... but anyways

if you wanna know what sub is gonna be louder.. just look at its sensitivity rating.. the higher the sensitivity.. the louder
