What do you think is better a 97 Ford or a 98 GMC?

A 97 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor, 4.6L V8 for ,800 or A 98 GMC Sonoma, 2.2L I4 5SPEED for ,200. DON'T SAY THE FORD JUST BECAUSE YOU LIKE FORD, AND DON'T SAY GM BECAUSE YOU LIKE GM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... and make sure there is a reason.

if you arent going to use a truck, get the crown vic. its gotta big boot and makes good power, the gears are like 2.9 and are used on aircraft. i highly recommend it.

Either one for that cheap will be problems. I'd roll the dice and take the sonoma.

I personally don't like either vehicle: the Vic will swallow gas by the gallon and the Sonoma won't get out of its own way. However, given the choice, I would look at the miles and the maintenance records. I'm guessing that both vehicles are high miles, so maintenance records are king!

depends on what you need base your decision on what you need i personaly have cars so right now i would pick the gmc. The crown vic should be a very powerful very safe car. The gmc not so powerful just as safe and you can haul stuff on it .

it depends on what i was needing it for. if i had to haul stuff then i would pick the GMC but if it,s just for driving then the car would be ok.

id take the sonoma because its more practical to own that,at least you can improve on it and use it when you need it,all the police interceptor will be good for is basic transportation,and to get you a few speeding tickets,good luck.
