Do you think Rafa and Rogers rivalry is the greatest of all time?

I love how much respect they have for each other, its great to see two champions like that. What a final, everytime they play each other its filled with excitement, its sooo intense. Congrats to Rafa The New Aussie Open Champion.!

to be honest i cant remember borg, conners etc maybe because i wasnt born well i was a baby lol more my mums time hehe

Its certainly the greatest rivalry of all time considering the sheer intensity & quality of Tennis we have seen when these two clash.

There have been quite a few great rivalries in the past too. Sampras/Agassi, Borg/McEnroe, Ivan Lendl/Stephan Edberg etc..but none as good as the current rivalry between Nadal & Roger.

Whoever doesn't think it's the greatest rivalry of all time either 1. doesn't respect tennis for the amazing grueling sport it is or 2. doesn't follow tennis to know how amazing these two competitors really are.

I honestly think that while we've got Connors and McEnroe, and then players like Borg, Lendl, Edberg, etc - and even Sampras/Agassi - these two players are like no one else before. I mean, what a stronghold the two of them have had on the majors the last 6 years combined. No one else has ever had that. And they continue to impress and improve.

It's going to be a great next 10 years in the tennis world! - At least!

no. There's been many before them and they will need to play some more memorable matches and not just grand slams. There will have to be some good matches on the ATP tour like last year (I want to say Germany but I think I'm wrong. I know it wasn't the Rome one)

maybe not the greatest rilvary, but in this decade yes. roger must be spewing right now. obviously he says its ok on tv put behinds scenes this is his second straight loss to nadal in a grandslam. dont know about you but its weird seeing roger with the world number 2 ranking on its name, doesnt feel right. and still not used to nadal being number 1, despite me being a nadal supporter.

Yes. There's no question about it. And what makes them all the more special is that besides being undoubtedly many steps ahead of anyone else in the ATP is the fact that they respect each other to the point of Rafa saying he's sorry every time he beats Rog in a final, besides they've never had anything bad to say about each other, at least not that I've heard of. They're both awesome.
