AFC North
Pittsburgh Steelers*1 (Look for the Steelers to firmly establish themselves as the team to beat in the 09-10 season)
Cincinatti Bengals*6 (Carson Palmer's rebirth will lead the Bengals into the postseason)
Baltimore Ravens (Flaaco's second year won't be nice to him. Teams will rattle the "unflappable" Flaaco)
Cleveland Browns (Unless Quinn becomes a franchise QB and Edwards puts glue/tape on his hands, the Browns won't be good)

AFC South
Indianapolis Colts*2 (Even though a new coach is in the locker room, look for the reigning MVP to make a statement)
Tennessee Titans*5 (The Titans will dip with Haynesworth most likely leaving in free agency)
Jacksonville Jaguars (Jacksonville is looking more and more like an average team who may sneak into the playoffs if they play like they did two seasons ago)
Houston Texans (Andre Johnson is a beast, but until this team can get some chemistry, no playoffs for them. But they look promising and threatening when healthy)

AFC East
New England Patriots*3 (With Tom Brady coming back, the Patriots are back)
Miami Dolphins (Last year was not a fluke. The Dolphins are for real and are a serious threat to this division)
New York Jets (Controversy with Brett will prevent this team from greatness.)
Buffalo Bills (Trent Edwards is inconsistent and Lynch can't even become a legitimate 100 yard rusher)

AFC West
Denver Broncos*4 (With a new head coach, look for the Broncos to take this division. Cutler will not allow his team to be denied along with the emergence of Marshall and Royal)
San Diego Chargers (I believe that the Chargers will have a slight chance at making the playoffs with Lights Out coming back, but actions speak louder than words)
Oakland Raiders (Tom Cable has the team headed in the right directions)
Kansas City Chiefs (With LJ and Tony G on the way out, this team is in a rebuilding mode)

NFC North
Green Bay Packers*4 (This will be the year A-Rod gets it right and gets in the playoffs.)
Minnesota Vikings (Until Tavaris Jackson can prove he is an NFL starter, this time will rely on AD, further shortening his career)
Chicago Bears (Inconsistent on so many levels)
Detroit Lions (They will WIN 2 games at least)

NFC South
New Orleans Saints*1 (Brees will lead his team to the number one seed with his entire team returning back fully healthy. This team will be dangerous)
Carolina Panthers (Delhomme proved in that Playoff game that his time is almost up. Carolina needs to draft a QB and slowly hand Delhomme the pink slip)
Atlanta Falcons (Ryan had a stellar rookie season, but the second season is always the toughest. Luckily he has the Burner in the backfield)
Tampa Bay Bucs (With the firing of Jon Gruden, look for this team to struggle settling in with a new coach)

NFC East
Philadelphia Eagles*2 (Ladies and Gentlemen, introducing Donovan F. McNabb's statement season. The Eagles will draft or trade for a solid RB to go with Westbrook. However, this team MUST stay healthy in order to go far)
New York Giants*5 (With Plaxico most likely not coming back, this team will struggle at first, but slowly settle in and make the playoffs)
Dallas Cowboys*6 (Another tough season for the Cowboys, but they will make the playoffs and get hot late in the season to slip in)
Washington Redskins (Jim Zorn's 'worst coach in the world' statement. Enough said)

NFC West
Arizona Cardinals*3 (Coming off an excellent season and Super Bowl appearance, look for Arizona to stat hot.)
San Francisco 49ers (The Niners will draft a QB and ship Smith out. This team will surprise others by stepping up. I like The Samurai's coaching style too)
Seattle Seahawks (It's time to get rid of Hasselbeck and introduce Seneca to the starting role. This team is injury prone)

St. Louis Rams (Blah. This team needs to enter the rebuilding face and build around Stephen Alexander. Might be Bulger's last go around)

AFC Wild Card
#3 Patriots over #6 Bengals (Patriots easily take care of the reemerging Bengals)
#5 Titans over #4 Broncos (The Titans and Broncos have a close game, but the Titans prevail)

NFC Wild Card
#6 Cowboys over #3 Cardinals (A shootout among two high powered offense. High scoring game that ends in overtime with the 'Boys winning)
#5 Giants over #4 Packers (A snowy game at Lambeau Field. An old fashioned, run-first game. Of course, the Giants win in this environment)

AFC Divisional
#3 Patriots over #2 Colts (Possibly another classic Brady vs. Manning match. However, as usual, Brady prevails)
#1 Steelers over #5 Titans (Perhaps a growing rivalry? Starting with Lendale stomping on the Terrible Towel last season. Big Ben puts the team on his back and beats the Titans)

NFC Divisional
#6 Cowboys over #1 Saints (Upset special. In the season no one expects the Cowboys to do squat, they upset the number one seed and are one game closer to the Big Game)
#2 Eagles over #5 Giants (McNabb continues his spectacular season and ends the Giants)
Eagles over Pats in Super Bowl
