BMW vs Mercedes-Benz?

My family has owned both - and BMW's smoke Benz hands down - as far as driving pleasure is concerned.

BMW's have a fun spirit about them, their engines are built better and sound better than Mercedes and I'm more attracted to BMW's.

Mmmmm... I've never had a beamer, but everyone i know loves them! They say they last forever! I have a 2009 ML550 right now and it's the best car I've ever had! They are AMAZING in the snow! the 4 wheel drive is great, they handle awesome! It hardly feels like you're driving an SUV. Ummm i guess the back up camera is really sensitive when it gets bumped. I backed into a snowbank (it's hard to get used to using a back up camera when you are so used to turning your head, and not realizing the snow is closer than you think, i mean seriously back up cameras have to be the stupidest thing ever put on cars, who's seriously going to back up just by looking at a freaking screen, it's nice when parallel parking, but thats about it). Anyways, i took out the camera and it cost $5,000 from the dealership to have it replaced. I still don't even know how it happened, but it's quite expensive to get fixed. But so are all high-end cars. You wouldn't believeeeee what my brother had to pay when he blew the transmission in his Audi A-4, or when a friend of mine lost blew his tire and damaged the rim on his jag. Or just when his embulum on the front of the car got stolen and he had to replace it lOl!

both are nice cars - it boils down to what you like
but it all depends what you are looking at buying
both cars have some problems just be make sure the model and year you are getting has no problems

I like my acura RL better-
i absolutely had "0" problems
the only time i had been to the dealership is when i wanted to
go in for regular service
i like Mercedes more when compareing then to bmw

BMW has won almost every comparison over the years. They are obviously the better company, bang for buck, and reputation.

Besides Mercedes merged with Chrysler = junk.
