I know it's a pretty old laptop, but its got issues and I need help.
Specs: Intel Celeron 2.8 MHz, 240 MB of ram, 40 GB hard drive
When you boot it up, you see a Windows boot menu with a choice of Windows XP Professional or Windows XP Professional.
The first one either boots to a black screen or a half-finished installation of windows. The second one boots to Windows XP Pro.
Upon examination, there are two partitions in the drive. One, around 30 GB, seems to be the Windows partition for the 2nd install. The "half" installation is on a ~7 GB partition.

Will have more later.
How do I get rid of the first, half-done install?
Also, the 2nd partition files do not look like restore files. There is a WINDOWS folder and a Documents and Settings folder.
