Can you run your car audio system on a seperate non-stereo car battery.

Duralast for example.? I'm adding alot of stuff to my car audio system and i have to get a second battery. but regular car batteries seem to be cheaper than car stereo batteries.

There's no difference. 12 volts is 12 volts.
