Dell studio or Toshiba satellite?

I have a toshiba satellite which is about 2 years old and i want to get a new laptop. I normally watch movies on my laptop and occasionally play games. However, my toshiba gets really hot after a while of playing games and even watching movies heats it up. Please help me decide between getting a new toshiba satellite or a dell studio.

I would get a Dell, because of the better design and smaller amount of extra software loaded onto it from the beginning. Both companies are about the same with hardware quality, so it really comes down to that in my selection. That's the reason why I recommend Dells.

Don't buy an Acer, cheap build and look. Plus I've had to deal with several issues involving some of the software that was installed on their laptops....eh.

get a toshiba satellite, i have an A200, the wifi in these things are king!

Have you still got the original CD/DVD drive in your Satellite? Toshiba put a real crap one in (Matashitsu or something similar) that fail after a while. Mine came back from repair with a Pioneer brand CD/DVD drive
