what are some food (specifically) that must be eaten daily to ensure a healthy body?

I've heard carrots help with sight because of the vitamin A. I've never heard of food improving hearing.

Avoid loud music, etc, to keep the hearing you have.
 
Level of importance from top to bottom:

-Carbohydrates (Bread, rice, noodle, etc) *you can survive just eating carbs, they provide stored energy for our body. Don't expect to live till 100 just on bread though.

-Fiber (spinach, vegetables, fruits etc) You need lots of vegetables. They contain most of the vitamins and minerals you need to stay healthy and fiber to help digestive system. Eg carrots give vitamins that can help your eye sight. Oranges give vitamin C that build up your immune system. Other vitamins keep body functions working.

-Protein (meat, nuts etc) You body is constantly building new cells and getting rid of old ones. You need protein to keep your organs healthy.

-Calcium (milk, cheese etc) Your bones constantly reforms it's structure everyday. You need a constant supply of calcium for your bones to grow and stay strong. Lack of calcium can lead to brittle bones amongst other disorders.

-Sugars/Glucose (candy, chocolate etc it doesn't have to be sweet anything can contain glucose) *You need Glucose for energy to move, glucose = quick energy. Carbs = stored, slow energy that can be used later.

-amino acids (fish) amino acids are important for lots of chemical reactions in your body, eg if you want to grow muscle you need protein and amino acids to change into muscle. eg omega 3 help keep brain cells healthy and help produce chemicals to keep you happy, if you don't eat much omega 3 then you might become depressed.


Just eat everything and you should be fine hehe. Eating exotic foods from different countries might provide you with nutrition that you lack and you may become more healthy.
The healthier you eat the longer you live.

We can not improve our hearing.
From birth we get a certain amount of hearing cells in our ears and they die over time and don't grow back.
Best way to keep our hearing good is to avoid loud noises and eat well, especially protein.
As we get old we don't hear as many frequencies compared with when we're young and everything sounds a little different.
