My LG Rumor turns off randomly - Cellphone?

My LG Rumor randomly shuts off all the time. I do not have insurance on it. Is there anything I can do without insurance??
Also, I've only had the phone for less than a yr & it didn't start with this problem until maybe 2 months ago.
I tried doing a firmware update, but my phone states I have the most current update.
 
I had a rumor that did the exact same thing. My cell phone carrier offers a 15 day bring back if something is wrong with the phone so i took it back. Also, they told me that LG has a 1 year warranty so you might want to check into that! If you haven't had the phone very long you might try taking it back.
 
This has happened to me. I had to send my phone in for repairs.
This was in Canada though. If you are with sprint, they offer a firmware upgrade that fixes the problem.
