What was the last year the E9 Coupes were offered for sale in the US? What was it's last year of production?

I believe the '74 models with the extended, black "accordion-style" bumpers was the last year E9s were sold in the USA, however, they were produced for the European market until the end of the '75 model year with the more elegant, conventional, non-USA bumpers.
