How do i control my ipod on my car stereo ?

sony xplod doesnt make a deck where you can control the ipod on the deck

only alpine (as of right now) makes a deck where you can control that actual ipods its self through the deck

hm it does say direct ipod control, it should show you how in your manual then, but my kenwood deck also says direct ipod control and its not able to be controlled through the deck so i have no idea
