    MLK was more menorable because it was on TV. The Gettysburg address was considered dull and boring at its time.

    i think gettysburg address is probably the best speech of all time, churchil also did great...

    read the last few lines and it should send chills down your spine:

    Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.
    Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. We are met on a great battle-field of that war. We have come to dedicate a portion of that field, as a final resting place for those who here gave their lives that that nation might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this.
    But, in a larger sense, we can not dedicate -- we can not consecrate -- we can not hallow -- this ground. The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated it, far above our poor power to add or detract. The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here. It is for us the living, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us -- that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion -- that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain -- that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom -- and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.

    Lincoln. the man saw fit to butcher hundreds of thousands of Americans who were only defending their homes and their liberty, and expanded the power and size of the federal government to the point where the states and individual citizens had no say in government without working through the DC Political Machine. He was the closest we had to a Napoleon/Hitler/Stalin type. MLK was inspiring, but the negative of Lincoln's propaganda and his militarism outwieght the hopefullness of MLK.

    The only one I can remember hearing , was MLK's speech. Lincoln was a little before my time.

    on MLK:

    his name was michael king (not martin luther king)

    he plagiarized everything attributed him since high school.

    he plagiarized his "I" have a dream speech given to the Republican convention in 1952 by an African-American preacher named Archibald Carey, Jr. Some of them say he gave Cary's speech word-for-word.

    he plagiarized 51% of his "doctoral" thesis word for word.

    he was a serial whore monger and woman abuser.

    he was a jew backed communist.

    I wish he could be dug about so we could shoot his filthy black ass again.

    Isn't it hard to compare because we have video and audio of MLK while we only have transcripts of Lincolns speeches.

    That said, both men gave speeches that profoundly influenced our history.

    I found Lincoln's second inaugural to be his greatest.

    Why do you compare an ant to an Elephant?

    The elephant took a very large dump ( The Civil War )! and then the little ant build a little shelter ( civil rights movement supported by Jews and White women ) on the dump
