Internet Explorer Problems!!!!?

I down loaded Internet Explorer 8 and it wouldn't close so I uninstalled it and went back to IE7. Every time I tried to close it it says Internet Explorer has stopped working. After I press cancel it closes but its so annoying. Someone please help!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have had nothing but trouble with interent explorer 7 all week.i was on the phone with my internet provider for over 2 hours yesterday and we traced everything back to internet explorer. i went and downloaded firefox and i have not had any problems since. good luck!
