I am not sure if I have a vacuum leak or not.
Leaks usually appear it idle. To test for leaks, get a can of Gum-out, and spray it all around the intake manifold, carb, and hoses. Any fluctuations in idle speed indicate a leak. Usually, the carb on these require a major rebuild after all these years, or at least a thorough cleaning. Also, be sure to have your valves adjusted properly by someone who is competent. Good Luck!!

sputter knocking no power so many in a car that old. every thing ran on vacuum. try plugging some lines to see if there is a change in performance.
