"Red Carpet/Hollywood" Themed Dance Dress Help, Please?

Alright so i want to buy the dress for my 8th grade dance and its like a huge thing, the theme is Hollywood/Red Carpet.
Ive already started looking a little and i found ones i like, the only problem is that theyre strapless and im pretty much a skinny minnie lol.

i found this dress but idk if its "red carpet" enough but i think its so pretty,

I really like the first one. Here are some other ideas (see the links). Also, keep in mind that sometimes the strapless dresses come with straps that you can attach, so don't rule them out right away.

the first one is pretty, but i think it might make you look older than your age though

i just bought the exact same dress, it's very adorable
but, way too expensive if you only wear it twice
