Qualifications not necessary!! I recently saw an advert in the jobcentre ( well, 3 months ago ) and applied. I got an interview, sat in for a presentation type half day and then got the job. Crazy as it seems you only really need to have a common sense approach to Health and Safety and semi sensible knowledge with regards to Tv's and the connecting up and such like.
