I use the internet to hang around the R and S section, and I think every day I'm learning a little, and its taking me closer to my destiny..... whether its still Islam, or deism, or agnosticism etc.
Others may use it for pornography, and I can tell you its not a very religious thing to do......
The Internet was popularized mostly by porn, just as CDs and DVDs were.. I would even dare say that, without porn the Internet would not be nearly as popular as it is today.
So in my opinion, it probably is driving them away from the concepts put forth in the Bible.
