i use the playstation 3 to watch blu ray movies i have an hdmi connection and a 1080i television NOT 1080p though, and it still doent impress me i still see like little tiny dots on the screen when you close up unless theres a setting i have to change i dont know. same thing goes with the games there not that different from ps2 but if there is some option i need to adjust please let me know thanks.
