it doesnt matter what website i visit (even ones i have used for years) every now and again i have a new tab open up with an advertisment for various things eg spyware , win playstation etc ....... My pop up blocker is on , i have scanned for viruses and spyware etc but nothing is found . anyone have any ideas how to get rid of this problem please ???????

Get a browser programme, or toolbar that blocks them.
I think Opera, Google Chrome and Google Toolbar?
