I bought a new iPhone 3G. I live in Jordan and my iPhone is locked onto the Orange network. I don't want any 3rd party applications or backgrounds. All I want is to be able to unlock it off the Orange Network, and use any GSM Sim card on it.
Also, Orange has a policy about voiding the warranty if you unlock it, so is there any way to re-lock it if any damage occurs ?
And I was also wondering about how to unlock it. I ran across this website "http://www.iphoneunlock2.com/" and I was wondering if anyone knows about it ? Is it worth the money ? And is it frequent for unlocked or jailbroken iphones to get damaged ?
Please help :)

The site that you have specified is already for sale....if you are looking to unlock your iPhone 3G without the need to jailbreak then I suggest you can approach Classicunlocking.com and specify the country, locked network of iPhone 3G.Based on the availability you can get their permanent remote unlock service.I have used their service and hence guarantee their legitness.
