What is better for biking for weight loss? Recumbent Bike or Real Bike?

I find I coast alot on my real bike so it is better to work out on my recumbent bike than my real one?

    Stop coasting .

I almost never coast. I think the real bike is better, because you have more options. Put it into the EASIEST gear, and spin.

The more you spin the more you lose, and you make your lungs stronger & overall fitness increases.

Get the bike into a gear in which it's so easy you are almost not pushing the bike, start with a really easy gear and work to the harder ones, and stop shifting into harder gears when the bike feels stable but you are spinning crazy fast.
