Internet speed testing...?

These are my results. But I have no idea what it's talking about, so can someone convert it into Mbps please.

I have a router and it says the speed is 100.0 Mbps. How much am I actually getting, is it usual and what can I do to increase the speed?

Ok well your Internet service speed is going to be lower than the speed your router says. The 100Mbps is the max transfer speed for stuff across your home network. Now your internet speed, as it says there is around 2Mbps, the only way to increase that speed is to call your internet service provider and ask for a speed upgrade, which will cost more of course.

On the My Results page you can change the calculation speeds from kilobits to kilobytes to megabits and megabytes under the "Speed Measure" menu on the right of that top bar.

I guess that's OK, should still be a decent speed. I used to have that kind of speed. Now with BT, advertised up to 8mb, and I get about 4mb download and about .450 upload.

1 megabyte = 1024 kilobytes
2 megabyte = 2048 kilobytes
