    I tried everything suggested before.If I killed explorer,how do I get it

    back.Rebooting didn't do it.? The start menu is completely gone.I have to go to ctrl.alt.del.then to new task then to desired site.

    bring ur curser to the bottom of the screen, then click and drag up, do this untill you grab ur start bar
