SPDIF can be either optical or coaxial.

Most TV's have an optical output so look for this on the back panel. If so - get a long optical cable to run to your receiver.

If your TV has an RCA jack (usually colored orange for the SPDIF) - run a long Video cable to the coaxial input on your receiver.
