Which is better for music downloading, programs like Ares or limewire or...

...downloading torrents? I have been using Ares for a while but I'm worried about the risk of viruses it has on my computer. Also how do you download torrents?

Everyone slates limewire, but i've used it for years to download single files and also torrents, and never had any trouble with it. Whatever you use there will always be the risk of viruses but aslong as you've got sufficient antivirus software you'll be fine.

To download torrents you first download something like limewire, then go onto torrent sites, for example, the pirate bay, choose a torrent, click download, then it will download through limewire (or whatever else you use). I definitely reccomend checking user comments and ratings on torrents before you download them though to make sure they are safe and actually contain what you want. For example, music albums, it's wise to check if they contain a realistic amount of files, such as 14 or something.
