After owning it for about a year or year and a half it suddenly stopped while driving. Now, I can drive it for about 20 minutes until it stops, I can let it rest and it will start back up again. If I have already driven it it wont drive for long after starting it up, and I have to wait about 10 minutes to even start it up again. If it is given plenty of time to rest it will drive for a good 20 minutes before it dies.

What is up with it?

Is the check engine light on in the car? Many times on a car equipped with an (OBD2) On Board Diagnostics Computer Generation 2 system the car will will shutdown in order to keep from causeing the engine, emission, or electrical systems any further harm. My advice, take a local auto parts dealer in your area to have your check engine light checked out. They may be able to solve the problem easily. If the problem persists, visit a chrysler dealership for further diagnostics.

im a used car dealer and had the same problem on a 2003 pt cruiser it was a sensor which was 150$
