what do you think of the pontiac grand prix?

I would like to buy a used one but I want to know if its a reliable car. Is it worth it? They seem to be sellfor cheap now and i really like the most recent versions. but do they last. are they safe.

I would look at something else.
Besides many years being on Consumer Reports list of used vehicles to stay away from, I have 2 friends that have them and both of them are very unhappy with them.

One has a 2006 with 45K miles and needed a new transmission.

My wife owned a 1999 that had not quite 80,000 miles on it. It was a hunk of junk. It was in and out of the shop more times than I can count for sensors need replaced and leaks that had mystery sources or origin and so on. My advice is to look for another car.
