i have a tmobile phone and i bought it several months ago, can i buy a new one?

i have gotten a tmobile phone like in augest(08) and now i wanna get a new phone (its now jan09) would i be able to just buy the phone? or do i have to wait a year or two? or what. can someone please helpp me.

You can buy one at a ridiculous amount of money or find websites that offer or sell phones. As long as the phone is from the same carrier, nothing will change with your plan or contract. I would say keep the one you have now and when your contract is up, have it in hand so that you can upgrade phones again; just buy a new one or gently used one.
