my ipod touch wont connect to internet please help?

i just recently brought this and im having trouble trying to connect to my wireless modem. Each time i can find my connection but I no i have to put in a wep key but i don't know how to find this on windows live, can anyone please help me as its really annoying.

Also i tried connecting to a friends internet using their wep key and the internet password but both times it said it cannont connect.x
