'motorola phone tools' and windows vista?

i have just purchased a new laptop which runs on vista, i tried to install the phone tools CD that came with my motorola phone but it will not install (dad said it must be something to do with vista blocking it) is there a way i can transfer photos etc from my phone to my laptop using bluetooth? (i know you can get USB sticks that enable you to do this.) thanks

You are probably better off going to the Motorola home site and using their help pages to download the Vista compatible software in order to run the editing suite.
I had to do this with my Sony Ericsson and I've transferred all my fone photo's onto my PC now. This is just another example of the major companies being slow on the uptake with getting fully Vista compatible.

If you right click on the intsallation folder and click 'run with XP' or something, it should work!!!
