Can i hook up my wii's wireless internet with just a wireless router?

When i try to hook it up, it finds the internet, but then says there's an error. Please help.

maybe you should reset the router or something. also check your internet settings on your wii. I think you have to select wireless internet - a lot like you do on a computer.

yes you can, as long as you have a wireless internet connection. When you are setting up your wii, you go to internet settings and key in the name of your wireless router and it should work

Unfortunately, the wireless adapter in the Wii sucks right out of the box. you need to actually update the software using a wired adapter that plugs into your USB port
