    Given the imminent failure of Detroit Automotive Industry,?

    Why? Except for an old Pick-up I inherited, I haven't owned an American car for 25yrs. What are your reasons or defenses?

    owned an '87 4runner with 200k+ miles, very little problems.
    own a '00 chevy blazer with 105k miles, a new problem each month.
