How can I share my internet safely with my neighbors?

I have been leeching my (unknown) neighbor's unsecured wifi for several months. Now that I have a wireless router, I want to return the favor for other people who need to get on the internet.

For reference, my two computers are Windows 2000, firewall = Zone Alarm Home; and Windows XP, firewall = Comodo. My router is a Linksys WRT54GL.

How can I set up my router/firewalls so that:
1) anyone can use my internet connection, without me giving specific permission
****2) only my computers (a desktop and a laptop) can access any files over the network, and only those that are stored on my computers

I know how to set up an unencrypted network, just by using the router and no firewall, but how do I make sure that no one else can see my files?

Thanks in advance!!

Personally there is no way in the world I would operate an unsecured wap. Just think of this, someone sees your wap and starts using it to download for example kiddie porn or making threats against the pres etc etc... Cops get your ip contact your isp they say its you and give them your address and next thing you know you got cops knocking down your door. Is the risk of something like that happening worth providing free internet access to someone you have no idea of who they are???

as long as someone has access to your network, you just have to hope that no one is into hacking.

And make sure the correct permissions are set on the files/folders that you are sharing between your PC and Laptop. Remove the everyone permission.
