i have replaced it 3 times and each time it goes bad after about a month

why does the alternator keep going bad in my 2000 pontiac montana van?

what do you mean by going bad, the bushings wearing out? It satrts to squeak? It could be yur batterys bad and thats why it doesn't get charged. Not the alternator.
