Can an involved party be with a person when they talk to CPS?

So... a friend of mine is in a situation. CPS is going to be coming and talking to her soon, but she's afraid to talk to them by herself. She says that she'd be able to talk to them if I was with her, but I don't know if I can be with her. Would I be allowed to?

You can ask. Better if she asks.

CPS will only be the ones to tell you that, and probably not. If you do not live in the household with the children, then mostly likely you will not be allowed in the conversation.
