    can i get a prepaid verizon fone and put my cingular sim card in it?

    cingular had really crappy fones. i want to keep cingular, but i want a different fone, its this possible?

    No, verizon phones don't use SIM cards... Verizon uses Code Division Multiple Acess technology, not GSM

    FINAL WORD : VERIZON PHONES HAVE NO SLOT FOR SIMS!!! THEREFORE IT DOENST WORK!!!

    well most verizon phones whether they are prepaid or not dont even have a spot for a sim card!

    Verizon does not use SIM cards. Neither Verizon or Sprint us SIM cards. If you want to buy a phone off a different network, it also has to be unlocked.
