    What are Possible Reasons Why My Dog's Ears are Itching? Please Answer!?

    My dogs ear has been itching and it is driving her crazy! What could it be?

    it could be that she's itching at it because it's infected. does she shake her head a lot too? The vet has special fluids for dog ear infections that you have to pour in. hope this helped =]

    Ear infection, seeds caught in the ear canal, excess wax buildup, earmites, skin rash inside, fleas, ticks, you name it. Have the vet take a look, they've got the equipment for it.

    I'm leaning toward ear mites. I have had several dogs that had a problem with them, especially ones with fine longer hair. The Vet or pet stores has solution for them.

    Fleas, ticks, maybe even ear mites? Can you see anything in, on or around the ear?
