The Blackberry Storm has a SIM card but is on the Verizon network which does not usually use SIM cards. Is it possible to use the SIM card from the Blackberry Storm in the IPhone, making the IPhone compatible with the Verizon network? IPhone works on SIM cards and unlocking an IPhone uses the SIM card, so can it be done?

iphones will not work with verizon because of the differerence in technology. iphone is made for those networks that uses a sim card only. Iphones arent made for the kind of technology that Verizon and Sprint are using.

You can unlock an iphone and use it with T-mobile or something, but never with Verizon and Sprint. You need a sim card and the blackberry sim card slot is for overseas roaming (one of Verizon's parent companies, Vodafone, uses sim cards in their European networks) The card wont work with AT&T sim cards because it is locked only over overseas roaming on the Vodafone networks. The Storm wont come with a sim card, but when you go to Europe and use Vodafone, you can use one of their sim cards on your phone. That is what the slot is for.
