    uhhhh wow this is easy. blu ray is way better hands down. first of all HD DVD is basically going out of business due to it's competition. Have you ever gone to a store and saw a lot of HD DVD's? no. there are Hundreds of bluray's. That should have been your sign.

    HD-DVD is dead, but because of this you can purchase them cheap on Ebay.

    Blu-ray is the accepted standard now. It won the HD format war.
    Pros: The pic is awesome when viewing on an HD TV at 1080p res.
    Cons: It can be expensive upgrading everything. The discs aren't cheap either.

    the blue ray is better. better picture better quality they blue ray disc stores and holds more than a regular dvd.
