HD has gone the way of the Beta VCR...It's all about money and behind the scene meetings few of us even hear about.

Blu-ray is the accepted standard now. It won the HD format war.
Pros: The pic is awesome when viewing on an HD TV at 1080p res.
Cons: It can be expensive upgrading everything. The discs aren't cheap either.
