I want to SCREAM and HIT SOMEONE really HARD!!! How do I get rid of this...

...horrible feeling? I suffer from depression and I can't take it anymore. Now the depression has turned to great anger and aggervation and compulsive eating.Especially sweets.I feel fat and ugly and stupid.I need somone to talk to.Someone that feels the same would really help too.I take Geodan for the depression and its doing jack NOTHING for me.I hate my life.I hate me.I hate my body.

I go through those feelings too. The healthiest way to deal with that depresion & anger is to exercise...HARD. If you're in good shape (or even if you're not) you can burn off aggression by running long distances with some windsprints in there, do flips and cartwheels, take it out on a heavy punching/kicking bag.

If that's not your style, try hanging upside down on the monkey gym at the park. That may sound lame, but it really does help turn a foul mood upside down.

    SCREAM into a pillow.

Find stuff you can throw around (plates, dishes). I'm serious. I would never PLAN to do that, but I've thrown some fits before and the shock of hearing those things crash and shatter settled me down for a while.

gym membership.Loud music. Move your body like it's nobody's business!

Sleep more than you ought to. It can be restorative.

Fresh air, long walks, long talks with a friend (but if you don't have any friends, I understand. I've been through all this crap with no friends too.)

    Fresh air! Exercise!

Probably should try to adjust your meds, but I would also recommend you start focusing on how to help or connect with other people instead punishing yourself with thoughts about what is wrong with you. It's just a good diversion.
