My Ipod won't let me put songs on it.?

I got an Ipod Nano for Christmas. I have 20 songs in my music library on itunes. How am I supposed to get the songs to my ipod, nothing is working, there is no drag and drop feature.

Also the ipod has 13 mario sound effects already on it which are annoying, how do I remove them?

Plug your iPod into the computer.
It should sync with iTunes if you have already done the registration. If not, it should guide you through the registration and then sync.

As for the sounds, go into your settings and turn them off.
