If you have no idea what the cost of repairs are on a Mercedes then don't buy one. A gal I know bought her friends old Merc and it just needed some air-conditioning work. The parts alone were over $3,000 and she couldn't afford it so now she has to drive with the window down when she's hot. Her friend gave her the shaft but she should have done her homework before buying.
