how do i meet scene guys? I live in minnesota and i go to a private school, at my school all they guys are preppy and they don't even give my style a chance, plus im into the emo type but its really strange, none of my friends are scene just me so i don't really hang around scene/emo so therefore i can't ever meet guys that are my type, any pointers??

You have to make a decision.

Door #1: Change your style to start attracting the preppy guys.(Get over your aversion to the "preppy" style and try to find it attractive
Door#2: Change Schools
Door#3:Wait till your out of school before you really start dating.

EDIT: There is NOTHING wrong with being "into" emo/goth sytle or music. Its a life choice that is yours to make, and it is NOT a bunch of kids playing around.

Change venue. You can meet people at concerts, parties of kids from other schools, etc. If you get along with them better, don't hesitate to hang out with them. Cool people are everywhere if you know where to look.

I don't know your area, but good general advice is to check out events that people with your kind of style might be in to, and meet up with folks there. It's hard to be that outgoing sometimes, but it can definitely pay off.

If you are seriously asking this then you are a poser. The truth hurts. Grow up. "scene" and "emo" I think is a pathetic excuse to "try" to be independent or w/e it is they try to do. It is not ones own style it s a bunch on teenagers dressing up and looking ridiculous.

You're just as generic as everyone else, just with stupider looking hair and make-up.

If you want to meet unique people, you have to be unique. Putting yourself in a box with your label isn't unique. It makes you just like everyone else.

You just have to accept it. No matter what you wear, you can't change the facts - you aren't unique. Either you have it, or you don't. You obviously don't.
