Going to Grandma's for Christmas Eve, on my period and having leaks at night? help?

I have to go to my Nana's tonight for a early Christmas, and I am now on my period, and at night, i leak more then during the day. i go through at least 5 pads, and i have no idea what to do, and i am very scared. anyone got any tips/ suggestions?
